One of the things that I always used to neglect to do, was update Office regularly. Office is a Microsoft product, and thus it integrates into your computer. While this is a huge plus for the user, it also creates a big security risk and a window for hackers and viruses. Microsoft releases updates regularly, however, if you donâ€™t go to the Office Update, then you canâ€™t get the fixes (office update is separate from windows update). Automatic Updates

Automatic Updates is a service that is used to automatically connect to Microsoft and download critical updates and update your computer. I, personally, hate this service because this service, basically, grants Microsoft the ability to put something on your system without you knowing about it. What is worse is that in order to use Windows Update, this service has to be on and set to Automatic. Making it a required service is totally unnecessary, and is very unethical.
