Or Close The Numlock key (the one located over by the numeric keypad), turns the keypad on or off. It is simple to turn on and off, however, if you have no qualms with having it always on (why would you?), then why not set it to be always on? I changed number lock before to be always on after reading your artical. But now I want it to be normal(off/on manually). I try to change the value to be 1 again and when I reboot it doesn't change to be 1. It show just 2 again. please let me know how can I change it be normal again.
------------------ Comment from Admin: First, let me say that this is a Commenting section, so questions that you would want a response to do not belong here, instead you should post them in the forum, http://www.fixmyxp.com/forum/ (Also, if you do post in the forum to fully explain what is going on again because we probably will not remember. You could always copy and paste this message in the post to remind us..) There are a few ways to go about fixing this, but in order to direct you, I have some questions that I would need to know and as I already stated, that kind of communication is much better handled in the forum. Without additional information, and strictly a general fix that "should work for all scenarios", the easiest thing I would suggest would be to do a System Restore. Please, if you have further questions or want/need to respond to this comment, please post it in the forum ( http://www.fixmyxp.com/forum ) written by Guest, March 02, 2006
