Translation The service is NOT dangerous. If you use other firewall than Microsofts and you DO NOT share printers, files or computer resources with other computers (ie. A network) you can disable the alg.exe service. however, if you do share printers, files or computer resources with other computers (ie. A network), leave this service alone cause you'll need it.
If you need to set this service to Manual. You can change this by doing this:
