Image This will allow you to add any location or program to your Send To Menu (the “Send To” Menu pops up with you right click on any icon…See the below picture)

To start, you will need to Show Hidden Files and Folders. To do this…

First Click Start, then My Computer.   Click on Tools then Folder Options.

On the View tab check mark Show Hidden Files and Folders , then Click Apply

Now, click on My Computer, then go into your C: Drive (or whichever drive you have windows installed in), Go to

C:\Documents and Settings\_________\SendTo

Where " __________" is your user name

Then from within the window, right click somewhere and select New, then Shortcut

Then click Browse, and then Navigate to the folder or program that you want added. For this example I have chosen to add “My Pictures”

You now should have your program/location listed in your Send To

Now , to test , simply right click on any icon, then go to Send To and you should see your new location/program listed.

opps meant to say the SHIFT key changes the sendto action, and meant to say save steps...thanks again all
how do i get the old default action of sendto = "move to"
written by guest, March 19, 2007
want to have the old "move to" action be the default action for sendto, not "copy to" which my computer seems stuck with...am running XP Media Center SP2 with current updates. Yes, I know that you can use the CTRL key to make it do this, but it seems to me that you wouldn't want to have to do this with every file, or have to go back and delete the other copy...trying to say steps, not add. Thanks VERY, VERY MUCH to you and all the other's who share their knowledge.
nice
