This tip will help increase the display speed in detailed view (mainly noticeable when used in folders with numerous files, such as a music download folder).

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder that you wish to increase the display speed. Then click View then Details

Then right click on the bar on the top (see picture), then Uncheck all Except for Name.

Once done, your details view should look like this:
