Or Close The Shared Documents folder in My Documents is new in Windows XP Professional. This folder appears when two or more user accounts are created on the local computer. Files can be shared among multiple users of the same computer. In a network environment, files can be copied or moved to a folder on another computer. By default, the Shared Documents folder is automatically shared and made accessible to all other computers on the network. ![]() Then navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders

Under DelegateFolders there will be a Sub-Key named {59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}, right click on this key and delete (by deleting this sub-key you can remove the “other files stored on this computer group”)
