If you are worried about getting a virus, worm or other malicious bug into your system, there are only 3 rules that you need to follow to ensure safer internet browsing. This applies to pretty much everyone. Follow these Rules and be worry free. Over time you WILL notice a significant drop in problems related to virus's, worms or other malicious bugs.

Alternative PDF Viewer

Working with PDF files has become more and more cumbersome with Adobe. It seems that even Adobe, themselves, recognize this and have added a “speed launcher” add-on that boots with windows and helps open PDFs faster (the catch is you have to have a process running all the time). Well, you don’t have to settle with Adobe anymore, there is another option, Fox-It. Fox-It out performs Adobe in every category.

Disable Low Disk Space Warning

When you are low on disk space Windows XP is nice enough to inform you of this. But once you are aware of the problem that should be it, right? Wrong, Windows XP continues to inform you. It gets rather annoying. Here is how to turn off the warning:

On Screen Keyboard

Feature Focus: Yes this update might seem a little trivial, but there is a feature that is included with Windows XP that I bet most of you have never noticed or used, the On-Screen Keyboard. If you are like me and have limited space for your workstation (especially if you are limited on space for your keyboard) this feature is very handy.
